A spiritual morning routine is an intentional way to start the day that centres around mindfulness and self-care. It can involve activities like meditation, journaling, prayer, or physical exercise. Practicing a spiritual routine in the morning helps to set the key tone for the rest of your day by allowing you to connect with your inner self and tap into your intuition for guidance, which helps to stop anxiety and overwhelm, procrastination, and you will get more done in less time. This form of inner work helps us to become aware of our thoughts and feelings so we can make decisions that are in alignment with our highest selves. Which will be a key life skill in 2023 and beyond. It also provides clarity on what actions will help us reach our goals and manifest our desires. Setting a positive intention for the day can be an incredibly powerful way to start your morning. We want to tap into the unconscious mind when setting our intention, but not everyone knows how. One way to tap into that unconscious part of your mind is through meditation. Another way is when you are starting to wake and are in a light dream state; this is when you can set the intention – boom! A positive intention is a statement that you make to yourself about how you’d like your day to go and what type of person you’d like to be in the day ahead. It could be as simple as, “I will stay present and cultivate a happy joyful day,” or “I will act with love and kindness towards everyone I encounter today.” When setting a positive intention, it’s important to pick something that resonates with you and one that you can realistically achieve. Doing this helps to motivate you throughout the day and keeps you centered on achieving your goals.

I believe setting a positive intention for the day is an important part of creating structure in our lives while also allowing ourselves room for growth. I’ve just upleveled my practice for the mornings by studying a Course in Miracles This goes beyond just setting intentions and helps to bring more clarity and awareness in. It’s a way to bring more spiritual understanding into my life, which helps me develop new perspectives on my role in life. Every morning I try to spend at least 15 minutes connecting with this deeper awareness, which provides me with a unique perspective that teaches us to look at our thought processes, As ‘A Course in Miracles’ educates us, each one of us is perfect – a miracle waiting to be discovered and embraced. If we give way for this core belief to manifest itself within our mindsets, then we will begin recognizing that perfection is everywhere.

The Course combines profound spiritual teachings with far-reaching and practical psychological insights. The Course aims to help us remove the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence and to start listening to our inner teacher.

Whether it’s taking a walk or running in a nearby park, spending time in your backyard or balcony garden, or simply sitting outside and feeling the sun on your face, taking a few moments each day to connect with nature can make a big difference to your health and happiness. People who practice regular outdoor activities such as walking, running, gardening, bird watching, and stargazing report better overall mental health, increased physical strength and endurance, improved moods, and sleep quality — just a few of the many benefits of making nature part of your daily routine.
