As a holistic health and medical intuitive, I view physical and mental illnesses from an entirely different perspective that goes beyond what we can see or feel. From an intuitive point of view, illness, stress, and disease are the result of a break in our connection to ourselves. We look at bringing back the connection and then creating a stronger connection to something higher—be it God, the Divine Source, white light—whatever terminology you prefer—allowing me to gain insight on how best to help you heal. As an empowerment coach, I strive to give you the power to take control of your wellbeing and this article will provide tangible steps that can help. A great way to energize yourself is by beginning each day with positive intention: set up for what lies ahead so it supports a reconnection with your true self!

Introduction: What is a Spiritual Morning Routine and Its Benefits
A spiritual morning routine is an intentional way to start the day that centres around mindfulness and self-care. It can involve activities like meditation, journaling, prayer, or physical exercise. Practicing a spiritual routine in the morning helps to set the key tone for the rest of your day by allowing you to connect with your inner self and tap into your intuition for guidance, which helps to stop anxiety and overwhelm, procrastination, and you will get more done in less time. This form of inner work helps us to become aware of our thoughts and feelings so we can make decisions that are in alignment with our highest selves. Which will be a key life skill in 2023 and beyond. It also provides clarity on what actions will help us reach our goals and manifest our desires. So, if you have plans this year, this could be a good practice for you to get into to bring your manifestations quicker.
In addition to providing mental clarity, having a spiritual morning routine helps us cultivate positive healthy energy for ourselves, as well as those around us. When we start the day with an attitude of gratitude and practice kindness towards ourselves, it radiates out into other interactions during the day. We become more patient and compassionate with ourselves when we take time each morning to cultivate our own spiritual wellness. This can be especially helpful when dealing with difficult or stressful situations throughout the day.
Finally, having a spiritual routine each morning creates a sense of stability and security in life that allows us to go through our days feeling confident and grounded in who we are. It gives us something reliable to look forward to each morning that sets us up for success no matter what challenges arise during the day. Through connecting with ourselves deeply each morning, we gain insight into how best to move forward in life with intentionality and purpose.
Set the scene
Setting a positive intention for the day can be an incredibly powerful way to start your morning. We want to tap into the unconscious mind when setting our intention, but not everyone knows how. One way to tap into that unconscious part of your mind is through meditation. Another way is when you are starting to wake and are in a light dream state; this is when you can set the intention – boom! A positive intention is a statement that you make to yourself about how you’d like your day to go and what type of person you’d like to be in the day ahead. It could be as simple as, “I will stay present and cultivate a happy joyful day,” or “I will act with love and kindness towards everyone I encounter today.” When setting a positive intention, it’s important to pick something that resonates with you and one that you can realistically achieve. Doing this helps to motivate you throughout the day and keeps you centered on achieving your goals.
Having a positive intention at the beginning of each day can help foster feelings of gratitude, which has been linked to increased happiness, better relationships, less stress, and improved mental health overall.
I believe setting a positive intention for the day is an important part of creating structure in our lives while also allowing ourselves room for growth. Whether it’s something simple like being mindful of your words or going after bigger goals such as taking on new challenges or learning something new, having an intentional focus can help lead us down a path of self-improvement and personal development.
I’ve just upleveled my practice for the mornings by studying a Course in Miracles This goes beyond just setting intentions and helps to bring more clarity and awareness in. It’s a way to bring more spiritual understanding into my life, which helps me develop new perspectives on my role in life. Every morning I try to spend at least 15 minutes connecting with this deeper awareness, which provides me with a unique perspective that teaches us to look at our thought processes, As ‘A Course in Miracles’ educates us, each one of us is perfect – a miracle waiting to be discovered and embraced. If we give way for this core belief to manifest itself within our mindsets, then we will begin recognizing that perfection is everywhere.
****A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a self-study system of ‘spiritual psychology’ which was first published in 1976. The Course combines profound spiritual teachings with far-reaching and practical psychological insights. The Course aims to help us remove the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence and to start listening to our inner teacher.
Mindful Practices, Such as Meditation or Prayer
Meditation and prayer are two of the most well-known and widely practiced mindful practices that can help people become more aware and in tune with their inner selves. Both practices involve intentionally focusing on the here and now, allowing the practitioner to take a step back from life’s stressors and refocus on themselves. Meditation is often done through guided visualization, deep breathing exercises, or other forms of relaxation techniques; prayer can be done through reciting scripts or mantras or simply opening oneself up to receive guidance from a higher power. With both practices, the goal is to become more conscious of one’s thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations, enabling one to react in healthier ways when faced with difficult situations. Working meditation and/or prayer into your daily routine can help you develop greater self-awareness and emotional balance.
Incorporating Nature Into Your Routine
Nature can be an incredibly powerful tool for restoring our energy, reducing stress, and improving our overall well-being. Incorporating nature into your daily routine can help you reap the mental and physical benefits of being outdoors and connected to the natural world. Did you know that being in nature for 45 minutes can reduce inflammation in the body? if you take anti-inflammatory tablets this could be an additional solution to help you, and I highly recommend it to my clients that are suffering with menopause.
Whether it’s taking a walk or running in a nearby park, spending time in your backyard or balcony garden, or simply sitting outside and feeling the sun on your face, taking a few moments each day to connect with nature can make a big difference to your health and happiness. People who practice regular outdoor activities such as walking, running, gardening, bird watching, and stargazing report better overall mental health, increased physical strength and endurance, improved moods, and sleep quality — just a few of the many benefits of making nature part of your daily routine.
Final Thoughts on Making the Most Out of Your Spiritual Morning Routine
Devoting time for you in the first part of your day to prayer or reading spiritual texts can help you cultivate an attitude of gratitude and appreciation for all that you have been blessed with.
When creating a spiritual morning routine, it is important to tailor it specifically to your needs. Think about what practices will help you feel centered and connected to something greater than yourself. You may want to try different things until you find a combination that works best for you. It could be something as simple as starting off your day with a few moments of silence or taking some time each morning for creative visualization. Whatever works best for you may change over time so make sure to stay open-minded when crafting your ideal routine!
Finally, be gentle on yourself if there are days when your schedule doesn’t allow for much flexibility or if it feels difficult to fit this into your lifestyle. A healthy spiritual practice should never feel like an obligation; rather, it should be something that adds joy and peace to your everyday life. With patience and dedication, taking just 10-15 minutes out of your day each morning can make all the difference in how you approach the rest of it!
