Positive affirmations are phrases that, when repeated consistently, can transform negative thoughts and behaviour patterns. They can be said out loud or silently to induce positive thinking, reduce stress, overcome obstacles, encourage action, and boost self-esteem and overall well-being.

Affirmations are positive statements that can be repeated multiple times until they become ingrained in your subconscious and transform into your new beliefs.

By repeating affirmations, you are telling your subconscious mind to change the way it thinks about something. This can help you achieve your goals by truly believing in the way you think and feel about yourself.

Affirmations not only aid in goal setting but also boost self-esteem, alleviate stress and enhance energy levels.

This happens when we repeat a thought consistently over a prolonged period. Our brains start believing it is true because it becomes part of our belief system—whether or not there is factual evidence supporting what we are saying at any given moment does not matter as much anymore. After all, now our brain just accepts whatever comes out through speech as being factually accurate without question. Affirmations help you change your thinking, which in turn changes your behaviour.

For example,  if you want to become more confident, using affirmations such as “I am capable and worthy of success” can help bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. By focusing on positive thoughts that align with your goals, it is easier to take action and break down big barriers to progress. I know there are negative things that we always tell ourselves, but affirmations can have a powerful braking effect on how we negatively feel and act towards ourselves. They can be used to change the way we think and feel about a situation, which, in turn, alters the way we act. Affirmations are statements that we state in the present tense that have an authoritative energy about them; so they possess the power to influence how we feel and behave.

There’s even scientific evidence that affirmations work effectively.

Affirmations are simple yet powerful. They can help you change your mindset and improve your life by repeating positive statements aloud about yourself and the world around you. By doing so, you can start to believe these things to be true, which helps build self-esteem and confidence leading to happiness and success in all areas of life such as relationships, health and wellbeing, work/career, and financial goals. The key to using affirmations is to be specific.

The more you can narrow down what it is that you want and how it will be achieved, the better your chances of success. You should also consider how long this new way of thinking will take before it becomes a part of who you are and what you do every day. For example, if you want to be more confident, write down five specific ways that support that goal.

Then read them every morning as part of your routine.

Once you have written your affirmations down, it’s important to read them every morning as part of your routine. Making this a part of your daily routine can be helpful as it will aid in focusing on your goals and remind you of what’s important for achieving lifelong happiness. For instance, creating an upbeat meditation on your phone or using the Mindist app to form an affirmation meditation can help you stay on track while working towards your target.

If reading out loud isn’t something that comes naturally to you, try writing out the affirmations first and then saying them aloud while looking at them on paper or a screen. This way, even if there are words in the affirmation that don’t come naturally to you (like “I am worthy”), their meaning will still be conveyed through the tone of voice and body language involved when speaking aloud versus just reading silently from a piece of paper or computer screen!

The more you repeat them, the more they will become part of your life.

Affirmations are a great way to boost your confidence and change the way you think about yourself. They can be used for all kinds of things, including boosting your self-esteem and improving your life in general. Healing affirmations provide a method for releasing negative energy to move forward in a more positive direction

Neuroscience has proven that reciting affirmations can change the structure and functionality of the brain, which can lead to lasting changes in attitudes and behaviours over time.  In addition to helping with positive thoughts, affirmations can also help reduce stress and anxiety as well as increase resilience when times are tough.

If you repeat the affirmations I provided below each day, you will notice their positive impact on your life. During my healing sessions, I utilise affirmations as a powerful tool to help create lasting changes for my clients. As an advanced certified practitioner of Theta healing, I help clients by conducting a process called downloads. This process involves installing positive beliefs and feelings deep into their belief system while they are in a meditative state, similar to hypnosis. Additionally, when working as a Medical Intuitive using the miracles of medicine techniques, we use a technique called reimprinting. Reimprinting is a form of energy healing, which replaces old patterns and beliefs with more empowering ones.

Louise L. Hay is a well-known figure in the self-help industry who has helped many people improve their health and mindset through her healing techniques and positive attitude. Her first book, “Heal Your Body,” was written in 1976 when exploring the mind-body connection was not yet popular. Louise’s approach to healing involves using empowering affirmations and identifying emotional aspects that require transformation.

Good luck on this journey of self-discovery and transformation!
